YES products are completely body-friendly and contains all natural and certified organic ingredients that are not only sensual but therapeutic.
YES can be used as a sexual lubricant (for women and men) or daily as a vaginal moisturizer. It is an ideal product for resolving dryness and enhancing sensitivity.
YES water based intimate lubricant is condom and latex compatible and safe to use with your favorite pleasure products.
This is the ingredients list for Yes Water based Lubricant:
Aqua (water), Aloe barbadensis (Aloe vera), Cyamopsis tetragonolobus (Guar Gum), Ceratonia siliqua (Locust Bean Gum), Linum usitatissimum (Flax extract), Phenoxyethanol, Potassium sorbate, Xanthan Gum, Citric acid.
YES long term Vaginal Moisturizer ingredients are:
Aqua (water), Linum usitatissimum (Flax) Extract*, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder (Aloe vera)*, Ceratonia siliqua (Locust bean gum)*, Cyamopsis tetragonolobus (Guar gum)*, Sodium chloride, Xanthan Gum, Potassium sorbate, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol.
It is impressive, and refreshing, to see an ingredients list that is organic and free from parabens, glycerin, aspartame and other nasty things that can cause irritation, infection or drying of the mucous membranes.
Because Yes WB is a water based lubricant, it is very versatile, being safe to use with condoms and diaphragms, as well as being safe to use with silicone sex toys.
It can be used for any sexual play but as with almost all water based, Yes Lube does have a slightly bitter, soapy taste. It is quite mild though, compared to other brands.
So your partner can taste it during oral sex, which can be distracting for him, or off putting.
The issues with YES water based lubricant, and vaginal moisturizer
Moisturizers like YES are usually applied regularly, have a longer impact then lubricants, and are absorbed by the skin and adhere to the vagina, which means moisturizers act similarly to natural vaginal secretions.
However, YES VM and the lubricant come with their own issues:-
1. Women in general have a few issues with Yes Water based Lubricant.
Mainly that it isn’t great for heavy duty use and that it isn’t the best lubricant to slap on your bits if you fancy following up with some oral sex afterwards (But then again, all water based lubricants taste a little funky, so this isn’t unique to Yes Lubricant.) However, this lubricant functions well for standard use, like masturbation and vagina/penis penetration and because this product has been produced without any nasty ingredients, making it one of the most body safe lubricants available,
2. YES vm can’t make you more horny or interested in sex.
So, if libido is a problem along with the dryness etc. the YES vm can’t fix that.
In our opinion, the best “lubrication” strategy would be to use a libido enhancing gel like HerSolution™ Gel which has been formulated and doctor-approved for its pure, natural, libido enhancing botanical ingredients including:
L-Arginine – regularly recommended and prescribed by doctors to relax blood vessels and increase blood flow to vaginal and clitoral regions, to enhance and intensify that feeling of engorged readiness! This also helps with increasing the vagina’s own natural lubricant. This helps by increasing the libido which can be greatly helpful for women lacking the sex drive.
Natural Botanical Essences – deliver a potent, immediate rush of pleasure-boosting and libido-intensifying properties.
Other powerful soothing ingredients like Aloe, Shea, and Cocoa Butters – in the ideal blend create a texture that gives a really sensual, warm and inviting feeling.
And HerSolution™ Gel, just like YES Contains NO parabens, silicone, or glycerin like those drugstore lubes! This makes it an ideal choice as a personal lubricant to treat vaginal dryness, regardless of your age!
So, if you want a lubricant/vaginal moisturizer that works on enhancing the libido and also helps with increasing the vagina’s own natural lubricant, we recommend you definitely check out HerSolution™ Gel.
3. YES is NOT the ideal lubricant for menopausal women
Vaginal moisturizers will help a little but they don’t have much lasting effect because they don’t actually do anything to the vaginal tissues except coat them.
If you have burning, wee a lot, feel sore and sex is painful or even impossible due to vaginal atrophy then you need vaginal HRT.
You can read about the pros and cons of various vaginal HRT products on this site.
However, the issue with YES, just like the estrogen based creams and pills is it doesn’t have ingredients to deal with menopausal symptoms like low female sex drive.
In majority of cases, the menopause is associated with vaginal dryness, hot flashes and low libido.
Most women fail to understand that while estrogen is linked to libido or sex drive, they are still very different things.
There are other hormones like testosterone, responsible for female libido.
There are countless experiences of women that have been using estrogen creams to manage their menopausal symptoms, that have found out that while the Estrogen cream did help them with the vaginal dryness, but it was unable to help much with the libido. Their sex drive continued to be negligible or on the low side.
These women then usually opt for testosterone therapies to increase their libido, usually a T gel like Androgel or they use natural herbal supplements like Ginkgo biloba, Mucuna pruriens, Tribulus Terrestris, Epimedium sagitattum etc. to treat the lack of sex drive.
In our opinion, that is one reason we think HerSolution™ Gel and HerSolution™ Pills, together are a good natural lubricant as well as natural estrogen and libido enhancing supplement, and work better than typical estrogen creams or long-lasting moisturizers like YES.
HerSolution™ Pills also have ingredients that act as natural aphrodisiacs eg. Theobromine, Ginseng, Gingko biloba, Ginger root etc. that increase the female sex drive.
If you depend only on a vaginal moisturizer like YES, you miss out on such libido enhancing ingredients.
4. Moisturizers like YES personal lubricant can be really messy.
Because the vagina absorbs what it needs and excretes the rest, sanitary pads are useful. Some women may get a harmless brownish discharge with Replens or YES.
Apart from that, for some women suffering from vaginal dryness and other symptoms of menopause, YES Moisturizer may not provide enough comfort during sexual relations and personal lubricants may still be needed, doctors say.
Do YES Water Based lubricant and YES Vaginal Moisturizer Work?
It’s important to go into taking any new supplement like YES Water Based lubricant or their Vaginal Moisturizer, that every woman will have different results.
To achieve the best results with these products, it is vital to follow the instructions and be aware that everyone’s body is different. With that in mind, the results of taking YES Water Based Vaginal Moisturizer will vary unless you make changes in your lifestyle for the better.
In our opinion, there are better lubricants/moisturizers in the market like the HerSolution™ Gel.
Yes Water based Lubricant is a reasonably thin, watery, slightly cloudy lubricant. When I apply it to the back of my hand, it will trickle down to my wrist reasonably fast. It is thinner than pretty much all the lubricants I have to compare it to, including Sliquid Sassy, Pjur Back Door, Durex Play and Swoon Lubricant. I usually avoid runny water based lubricants for two reasons, 1) They don’t seem to last long before needing reapplied and 2) They often do not provide an adequate, slick, thick buffer between skin and sex toy, so I was not surprised to discover that using Yes Water based Lubricant for anal sex, or with large, highly textured sex toys, left me feeling a little chafed and sore. This is simply not a heavy duty lubricant. It does however, last a reasonable amount of time before needing reactivated or reapplied, so although Yes Water based Lubricant was not suitable for heavy duty use, it was certainly comparable to some of my favourite lubricants when it comes to standard play, including vagina/penis penetration, or for use with smaller sex toys, and of course, for reducing friction and discomfort during clitoral stimulation with fingers or vibrators.
I wasted a load of money on Sylk and Yes, Yes, Yes they are useless, Gynest cream and Ovestin are the best for me. (estrogen HRT)
I use the water-based version of Yes, one 5ml pre-filled applicator on alternate days, then Sylk during intercourse. Can’t compare as haven’t used hormonal-based products but, generally, this combination works for me.
A few weeks ago I ordered a small tube of the vaginal moisturizer, and I just tried it last night for the first time. Thought I would post my initial thoughts on it Smile
I didn’t notice any crazy irritation from it, but my skin is overly sensitive right now, so the mild burning it caused for maybe a minute after application didn’t worry me much (YES WB can do that to me too).
YES VM is thicker and less runny than the water based lubricant, which can be either good or bad. I apply it to almost my entire vulva, and it was nice that I didn’t have to worry about it running down my bum when in bed. However, I have been applying YES WB to the top part of my vulva and letting it run down the rest of my skin so I didn’t have to do a lot of rubbing or anything else irritating (doesn’t take much YES WB to use it this way). You can’t do this with YES VM. It just sits there in a gel glob unless you rub it in. If touching my skin didn’t set off a flare up for me, I would probably say that I would appreciate the thicker formula, but for what I need right now, it requires too much fiddling to make it go where I need it.
Also, I was hoping that YES VM wouldn’t cause dried “flakes” in my hairline like the YES WB, but unfortunately it does. It seems to be less, but I’m sure that’s because it is too thick to move everywhere the YES WB can.
Since it hasn’t caused any extreme reactions so far, I’d say I’m willing to keep using it
After having it on for a while, it turns white and almost sticky. I thought I was having horrible discharge, but I’ve now realized it happens every time I use YES VM.
It makes such a mess that I’m probably not going to keep using it for now. Not sure how it behaves if used vaginally, but I sure hope it doesn’t create a white fallout like RepHresh (thought the website said it didn’t do that but who knows).
Unsafe And Dangerous ! This item burned my skin do not buy it! Amazon should not sell this to anyone else and I am asking for a refund as well as a review of this item by Amazon
I recently bought this product and was quite disappointed with it. The packaging was pretty…it came with no safety cover on the tube and when I attempted to use this right in the middle of an experience – the entire tube squirted over both of us and all over the bed linens….a whole lot of mess, and a whole lot of embarrassment. I expected a gel like substance – not a substance similar to body cream with no consistency.
This is the worst sexual lubricant me and my spouse have ever used. Regular water based lube irritates my wife, we have been using coconut oil for a year or so and it worked great but she hated that she felt “wet” the next day from it. Thought we would give this a try since it was free of many chemicals. However it’s lubricant properties only worked for about 60 seconds before disappearing and becoming slightly tacky feeling. Maybe we are different, but the good reviews fooled me. Stay away, not worth 28 bucks. Might work on a prostate exam, but friction isn’t it’s friend.
